The 3rd M.A. English Language Thesis Defense Ceremony in 2020
On the morning of December 12th, 2020, the School of Foreign Languages – Thai Nguyen University solemnly held the 3rd Master Thesis Defense Ceremony for 13 students majoring in English language.\
Attending the opening ceremony, there were Dr. Le Hong Thang – Rector of SFL, Dr. Dang Thi Thanh Huong and Dr. Luu Quang Sang – Vice Rectors of SFL – TNU, along with the officials in charge of post-graduate training under the Academic Affair Office.
Thesis Examining Committees were chaired by Dr. Huynh Anh Tuan – University of Language & International Studies – Vietnam National University, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Phan Van Que – Hanoi University of Business and Technology and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hoang Tuyet Minh – Hanoi Open University and joined by other examiners and 13 M.A. candidates whose theses were to be defensed.
At the opening ceremony, Dr. Le Hong Thang – Rector of SFL expressed his sincere thanks to the Committee’s members cum scientists for their contributions to the training affairs of the School, which was a great meaningful success for the School of Foreign Languages over the years. The Rector hoped that given increasing quality of the faculty officials and the training programs’ effective innovation, the SFL would have more development strategies to improve its training quality to meet the high-quality human resources of the Northern mountainous provinces’ demand as well as build the School stronger shortly. He may all candidates self-confidence and calm in defending their master theses.
Each candidate briefly presented their thesis to three Examining Committees in order that examiners gave comments, critical ideas and suggestions on the thesis content and format. Most of the topics were evaluated to be of scientific and practical significance. Candidates have endeavored in completing their papers, deploying deeply learned knowledge in analyzing as well as proposing working solutions to deal with the hypothesized problem.
